So I'm thinking about taking my old spyder sonix http://www.spyderpaintballinfo.com/images/spyder_sonix_red.jpg
and cutting it down and fitting it into a air soft pistol casing to use as a sidearm
I'm not really sure how to go about this (my dad is a master mechanic) so I was just looking for some tips I'd prefer it to be mag fed btw |

You are much better off buying a pistol, like a TPx o Tiberius.
With that Spyder cut down, you would need to run a remote line to it still, and you would have a 2 inch barrel. Neither one if very good for a pistol.

ya I was thinking about making it into a pistol but I was also thinking of making it into a shotgun
I guess it'll depend on how big the pistols are |

While it might look cool. It will leave you severely out gunned. Remember the only thing that matters in close quarters battle are accuracy and shots on target. Neither will you get from your spider-in-an-airsoft shell. I recomend that you use the spider as a loaner to get friends or anyone to try paintball.
Save your cash and get a TPX. |

If you are looking at pistols, also consider the Tiberius Arms T9.1. These are First Strike ready as well as having the option to convert to a full sized marker as well. Check for used ones on Ebay or www.pbn.com. They may be a little more money, but are more versatile than the TPX.

That website takes you to Providence Business News, not a paintball site.
