Seriously rule.  Especially if you're the guy since it's the one thing in this whole marriage process that I didn't have to think about or plan. .  My fiance's shower was yesterday, and I was at work.  I came home at 10:30 at night to a living room full of crate and barrel boxes.  So we finally get to toss out all the handed down and thrift store mismatched bowls, plates, and silverware.

On the other hand, I'm now officially old and boring because I'm fairly giddy about new glasses and plates.

You know who has awesome plates and glasses? The dollar store. I started filling my new place with them, and they're all choice.

Yep, it's great, until you have to box all of it up and move it. Moving was way easy for Erin and I when we were living in sin. Now it take a month to pack everything up, most of which were shower/wedding presents. Thank god this will be the last time we move for at least a decade (I hope).

You gotta move every 10 years or so to get rid of the crap you accumulate.
Face it guys, common sense is a form of wealth and we're surrounded by poverty.-Strato

That's the problem. I've moved an average of 1.08 times per year since leaving home for college.... in 1998.

Yup. Tire of moving. In fact, I think if I have to move again, I'm just going to burn everything down, use the insurance money to buy new stuff and have it delivered.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Sorry, but one day you will come to recognize the awesomeness of HLC. WV tableware = best tableware.

Dollar Tree, to be precise. Good solid glasses/mugs and plates.

EDIT: Don't you speak down to me from your high pony, Tallen.

I'm telling you, get one set of it and you'll be hooked for life! Durable, looks good, made in the USA so it doesn't contain a bunch of lead or arsenic like that cheap Chinese crap. (though some of the 1960's red ones do cause scintillation tubes to act up a little bit, but nothing worrisome.)

Meh, on our last move we purged most of the stuff that wasn't worth keeping, and we're doing that again as we get new stuff.  In a week or two, we'll be taking a couple big boxes of all of our mix-matched crap to goodwill.

I'll be purchasing a set in the future.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
