Interesting plans, anyone? Only exciting thing for me is going into work at 12am tonight.
Oh, Btw, I strongly dislike the Facebook group. The forum got slower |

Yeah I can't get used to the format, I guess I'm just old and set in my ways
I'm driving about a mile up the road to my parents place, stuffing myself, coming back to play some wii, and getting ready for work tomorrow. |

Happy thanksgiving!
I hate getting tons of FB notifications to only come here and see nothing is posted. I know I can turn them off, just haven't felt like it yet. |

Yeah I think primary posting should still be done here.
Anyways, I get the end of the week off work, so I'm going to head back up to Vancouver tomorrow to go out with some friends. Today I've got to do some laundry and work on a presentation, super exciting. |

Made a big breakfast, ate... wife made a big thanksgiving meal and we ate some more... good time.
In between, we went shooting. My arm is VERY sore, from sighting in the 12 gauge (took about 20 shots with slugs). Then shot some other stuff. Great time on the range. Shot a 45 pistol and hit inside the red from 150 feet away. (won a bet with that shot!). Great time with the family, and paintball Saturday. Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. It is always one of my favorite holidays. Oh, if anyone is looking for a Contour Roam, they are selling the roam with the waterkit on amazon today for $99... Including the waterproof case... that is super cheap! The roam is the camera I am using for my helmet cam stuff.

20 rounds of slugs is just too much. I don't think I've ever needed that many for a sight in, start close, 2 shot group, adjust windage at close range until you're close, then back off to your sight in distance and dial it in tighter. Did ammo testing last year with three shotguns and sight adjustments/confirmation and did 20+ rounds, rest a few days and have a partner do flinch drills with surprise loaded or unloaded gun. Getting a good bruise and a killer headache is no good way to train, besides, once you get a flinch, you're not getting good sight-in data. Sessions like that are as effective as cramming for tests.
