Went and got gas this am at local convienience mart. went inside for coffe and on the snack shelf was a 'Twinkie' clone. Mrs. Freshley's was the brand, checked thier site and product was not listed. http://www.mrsfreshleys.com/mrs_Varieties/Category.cfm?CategoryID=42
The clones taste exactly like the Hostess Twinkie in a side by side 'test' of one of my Hostess 'stash'. |

The true tragedy in all of this is the loss of the Dolly Madison brand due to the Hostess liquidation and thus, a lack of Zingers.
Zingers > Twinkies. |

Nope! Dolly Madison bakery was a subsidiary of Hostess. Mind you, you can probably still find some out there as they didn't have quite the following that Twinkies did (though they are superior in every way). But yeah, you'd better hope someone picks up that brand come the fire sale! |
