Hi,
Just received my new Tipmann X7 Phenom and found that the e trigger does not work. Tested about 10 different batteries but no luck. The led on the gun does not turn on at all. Tried to press the button for 10 seconds, but nothing happens. I tested the 9V batterry cable and it does deliver 9V to the board.

Verry dissapointed, because I live in Greece and purchased the gun from Athens while living in Rhodes Island (600 km away). My dealer was not so helpful, so I opened the etrigger up (I'm a certified electronics guy) but the board seems dead.

Please could you give me an e-mail address in order to send photos, proof of purchase etc. in order to claim warranty?

Would be greatful,
Thanks.

Tried to put a magnet to the sensor and the led starts flahing yellow then red and when I remove it again nothing.
Also noticed that the magnet embedded into the metalic trigger is never reaching the sensor ?!?
Could it be that there is a wrong trigger in my gun?

Please help.

I hoped this forum would help. Well I was wrong.

It turns out that the magnet on the trigger, although magnetic, is not enough for the sensors to pick up (bad magnet or so). When mimiking the magnet with one of my own the solenoid does indeed fire after three passes and leaving the magnet in place.

Would Timpman be so kind and send me a new metallic trigger with working magnet?

finally. the only sensor that seems to be working is the single back sensor, most probably which is for feedback. The two paralel ones in the front where the trigger is supposed to me sensed do not work.

Any help apreciated.

Finally my gun had a switch without a magnet. Poor quality control I suppose.

Thanks for the great help (I hope someone with the same problem reads this, at least then there will)
