Also, I used to be big into golf, but it seems to me that the more I played, the worse and worse I played.

I've gone golfing on two separate occasions. I wasn't very good at it, and i didn't enjoy the experience very much.
Anyway, DeTrevni will somehow find a way to build a gaudy body kit for a golf cart so it looks like a '56 Roadmaster. That would only be appropriate. |

There was a pretty nice "cheap" course near me that closed this last year. Now the only things close are the city municipal course. Where every redneck with a club or 2 goes to drink and sorta play.
Or the expensive courses that require reservations.Its, a little too early in the year to get any twilight rates.

I love a good drive. It's like that sensation in baseball where you get perfect bat-to-ball sweet spot, and all the energy is smoothly transferred to the ball. You don't even feel the resistance of the ball against the club, you just hear the smooth "thwack," and the ball goes flying. It is REALLY irritating, though, when you could swear it was a good drive, and then you watch the ball slice sharply. That was most of my experience yesterday, but I'm convinced a bit of time at the driving range can fix that.

I'm wrong-handed at golf and baseball (but I'm right-hand dominant, strangely enough), so thrift store or pawn shop complete sets are hard for me to come by out here. Like I said, I'm happy with my $100 set of Wilsons. :)
