Yes it is. That's our old style LED bar, looks normal to me though. The glass/plastic is a little cloudy though.

That's definitely been true so far, but this weekend will be my first weekend night shifts, I"m looking forward to it.

I think it's easier to stay up during night shift than it is when I have to wake up at 0400 for day shift.

I was inferring that the car was cool more than the lights look like standard issue fire chief lights. You would slay a lot of people here with that unit.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I like it a lot, people don't always realize it's a marked unit from straight on. Our newer cars are pretty spartan in design/lettering. We don't have the illuminated stop sign on the hood like your guys up in Michigan Wink


I've definitely been thinking about doing a blog. I put it off all throughout the academy because I didn't feel like I had enough stories to tell. Maybe Reb would want to do one with me.

Cars over here look like these. The lights look kinda cool from above. They have a triangular shape. They must rattle though because I would see tennis balls wedged in at the corners.

I've only written a couple warnings, and they were just to help me learn our system. We don't do a whole lot of traffic enforcement, unless we're really slow/trying to drum up work. During the day we're busy serving warrants and at night we are almost constantly answering calls for service.


Nothing's played into paintball yet, but that will only last until I get my hands on some pepper balls.

Our K9 Guy had a tennis ball wedged up there usually, for the dog.

Night shift is fun, I couldn't go to do dayshift working with old timers and waking up early suck.

I work 3-11s right now, love it.
