Hey there everyone . Im a rec player looking for some help. My son is 9 and this year i hav had him out with me for some woodsball and he really liked it. Hes ur typical kid likes COD type stuff and whatnot . So ive decided to get him further involved with the sport by buying him his own gun and gear. Im trying to get ahold of the Tippmann Cronus before christmas or pay for one now with some sort of reassurance that i can receive it before then. Where and how do i go about this? Does anyone know the actual firmed release date? Is this even possible ? Ive checked out a ton of markers online and this is perfect for him, looks like a milsig , affordable so i dont mind if he roughs it up, and its a Tippmann. Any help and or direction would e appreciated. Thanks from Toronto where our Mayor loves

Haha! If it's any consolation, we had a mayor in DC that was just like that, except it was rock AND hookers. He's now a DC council member, so apparently that kind of scandal doesn't keep people in politics down. Anyway, on to the topic at hand. I haven't personally seen a firm release date, but just about every website I've looked at has the cronus up for pre-order which makes me believe it'll be coming very soon. In time for christmas? I'd hope so, but you never know. You can give Tippmann a call directly, toll free at: 1-800-533-4831 Or check with the guys over at tippmannparts.com. They're usually up to date on the latest tippmann products and news. Just be aware that the Cronus is a composite body marker and not metal on the exterior. If you're looking to go cheap and don't care about potentially having cracking issues with the exterior down the road, that's fine, but if you're looking for a marker that your kid can use for years and years to come without issue, I'd spend the extra $40 and go with the 98 Custom Platinum myself.
