You can't go wrong with either marker. What ever marker you buy, polish the internals, get a good barrel (J&J Ceramic, Lapco, Apex II,etc)and consider getting a HPA tank.

As Ceesman up there said, both are fantastic. I find the 98 a little easier to work on, and since I like motorized hoppers vs the cyclone system (so I can switch between markers easily) it gets my vote over the A-5
|

I'm an A-5 guy myself, barrel off in 1/4 turn, cyclone feeder offset so it doesn't block your view when "sighting down the barrel, and the ease of maintenance by being able to take the valve out with only one allen wrench!
