New Magfed Tactical Compact Rifle The new Magfed TCR using the TiPX platform has many features beyond a typical mod kit. The TCR includes a new Tru-Feed 12-ball extended magazine that is First Strike compatible, a new easy access cam-locking system for 12g CO2 cartridges and a factory installed drop-down remote-line adapter. It is a modular compact design that is modifiable and can be converted to a traditional hopper style marker. Of course the TCR can also use the 20-ball Zetamag making this marker versatile and affordable. Check out our latest blog for more information on the new TCR plus other new products including a low cost mag fed conversion kit for the 98 Custom and a new airsoft gun that offers full-auto performance without batteries. Will you guys be having this marker at OK D-day? I'm arriving on the 12th and would be interested in using it in the big game.

I´d like to ask if the TCR will run up to 280fps by using HPA ???
If, will the regulator and what else you need to reach 280fps fit to TP(i)X ? Thanks !!! |

Just wondering if any one out there may know or heard of a more exact realease date of the new Tippmann TCR other than just "Fall 2014"?
Live in canada and would like to buy and use one before the snow flies up here.

Will the new 12Round Mags have a locking mechanic like the 7Round ones, against spring pressure if there not loaded in the marker ?
I think CO2 is an Oringkiller and at less temperatures it´s getting more evil !!! I would play CO2 just if it´s more than +20°C and still at high firerates it will freeze which is tough for Orings and grease !!! |

I was talking to one of the Tippmann techs at the PSP Worldcup held here in Orlando last week and had a chance to hold the TCR. He says it should be going retail in November and many of the US distributors are taking advance orders.
I questioned him on velocity adjustments as many TiPX users claim that they can never get it to 280 FPS, however the tech claimed that it could reach 305 FPS on HPA. I am waiting then for a real field test on this one. I like the feel of the TCR but be warned that if you need to get to the internals, you will need to unscrew the clamshells. Also the post for the rear stock is built into the gun shell. The only customization I see possible for the current TCR is a change of barrel with the addition of an Apex2 tip, risers for a red dot scope, or even the M-16 X7P carry handle. Maybe a 3rd party vendor will come in later with shoulder stock replacements. Although I have sunk a lot of money into my A5 (now a B5) and my X7P, I would gladly let them go for the TCR simply because of it's versatility.

I really like the looks and is one of the few military style guns I would tote because I like my guns stripped down. I wouldn't mind taking some world team players down with this at next year's tippmann world challenge.

It isn't shipping yet, sources are saying any day now... Last I heard they were waiting on a part to come in and then it would be ready to ship, so I would expect to start seeing people with them in the next week or so.
I'm getting one and will do videos on it as soon as I get it!
