I got to the comic in question without any problem. And I have to say that the peek-a-boo artwork was kind of necessitated by the punchline in that panel.

The nips popped up (hah) in the comic before that one, with no context, so my comments stand. Even with the new context, it's a poor punchline that's unrelated to anything in this particular arc, and is little more than a fanservice nod. I don't like fanservice, and I don't understand furries, so, naturally, a furry fanservice nod is just unappealing to me.
Plus, she was wearing her black tee earlier (and in the same setting), and there's never an explanation for her to have changed. I just don't see it as anything more than "look at my anthromorphic leopard titties," and I find that very devaluing for the character. It's hard to take her seriously now. And if it seems it's like I'm overevaluating a comic on the internet, I probably am. I've been on a comics/graphic novels kick recently. Still, it's kinda sad to see TWB going this direction. It's just kinda unnecessary.
