Topic: J&J Cer VS BoomstickPosted: 14 June 2004 at 12:25am |

What is the diff between a J&J ceramic and a dye boomstick? like what the heCK, I hear the accuracy is pretty much identical, the ceramic has a lighter metal, and shoots threw broken paint very well, and the boomstick is heavier more durable metal, so i hear. But why is the price range so different? what does the boomstick have the ceramic doesn't?

Well, Dye is a much better company that J&J. They make real good quailty stuff. The Boomstick will give you a tighter circle that a J&J but you pay for the name as well. hmmmm With either barrel you will be happy. Accuracy with any barrel is pretty much the same as long as you have a good paint to barrel match. I can, with every barrel I have ever test on my A-5, hit a target that is 50 -75 feet away in 3 or less shots. I'll let web dog once again explain for me. http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/s2/2WDR03.wmv http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/s2/2WDR03lo.wmv skip about 2 minutes in. Now go to your local paintball store and try each barrel and see if the Boomstick has anything on the J&J. You can learn to shoot just as accurately with either barrel. |

Ya, i figured the name would do something to the price. Take a white t-shirt, it'll sell for 10$, put a nike check on it it's automatically 40$, <DELETED>

All-Americans don't own anything. They are merely decent barrels that offer no preformance advantage over any other respected barrel on the market (Boomstick, Bigshot, Freak, CP 1-Piece, Ceramic, Zero-Gravity, etc...can't tell the difference in accuracy).

For once I agree with Shut Down. AA is a great barrel, the same as the Boomstick, Bigshot, J&J, etc. The J&J makes a good deal because of value. However it is also ceramic. Edited by PaINtToXiN |
