AKA's new and very ugly reg is now the number one reg

Here are some pics of the 2 liter which is very UGLY IMO. However it isn't too bad looking with the extension.

With the extension.

Due to circumstances within our control AKA is proud to announce the Mystery Regulator tested by Air Soldier Products is theirs! The "Mystery Reg" is the new AKA 2 Liter™. It has the fastest recharge, most flow and is Pressure Compensating. It can take input pressures up to 900 psi and will output up to 500 psi. It's designed for Nitrogen but will work with non-liquid CO2. Made of 6061-T6 aluminum it will be available raw, black anodized and nickel plated. At 2 ¾ inches tall, it is the smallest yet fastest reg on the market.

Also available will be the ASA Extender with Locking ring. You will be able to position any ASA style regulator where you want it and lock it in place. The extensions will be available in 3 lengths.

I haven't seen them online anywhere yet but I would assume OTE and DBN would have them first because both are ran by AKA master techs

I hope it sucks because I just bought the Palmer Male Stab today and my wife gave me a big ole' stink about it. I hope I didn't go through all that just to buy the 2nd best regulator.

Sorry to say but the chart depicted doesn't mean squat without the units of measure showing.  As is, we're just looking at some pretty lines.  Show some real data and I'll consider buying into it.

Besides, on test doesn't really mean all that much.  Throw some design of experiments (DOE) in there AKA!

^^^^ Talk to HaveBlue at airsoldier.com about that

Units of measure aren't necessarily all that important when its a simple comparison.

That is kinda not that true.  Since it's a graph, you HAVE to look at the scale of the graph.  Any good advertising agency uses that tactic all the time.

Blow-up a scale to the top, you can something look higher (better) even though it is really only 0.05% better.  Tough to explain but it's true.

Hope it's true though.  That'll be great.

But it says in the description that it can take non-liquid C02. Even with an anti-siphon tube, there's still a chance that liquid could get into your regulator.
