Technology: The technology behind this thing is crazy. You can also switch and make it a high pressure regulator or make it a low pressure. You can get individual upgrades just for the palmers stabilizer itself.
Compatibility: 5/5 for this thing you can switch between c02 and hpa. When doing this you will notice little to no difference. Most people place this regulator in the upright position. They do it because its easier and a little bit more affective. This regulator really loves to work with the lpk. Which stands for low pressure kit. If you use both. You can have a very low pressure gun
What low pressure can do: It allows your gun to run at a lower operating pressure, to reduce recoil, noise, and improve consistency. At a lower pressure, you can use paint with or more brittle shell to get better breaks on target, and less in your barrel.
Durability: Your not going to really have to worry about it being durable since you gun and other things are protecting it depending on the gun. It is a palmers stuff which is!!!! 100% made in the USA which tells you its awesome. They make tough stuff what do you expect? Diesel power
What it deos: It lowers the pressure of your air. Expanding all the gas into a low pressure air. In a c02 tank for example they fill it with liquid. The palmers helps turn it unto gas. Its a very efficient process. A regulator is an upgrade that controls the pressure of the gas entering the gun. When using c02 it just helps the gun not freeze up. Hpa is where it really starts working.
Male or female version: Your going to want the male one it will work better on yoru gun.
This regulator/stabilizer is worth it. It simply outperformes every other reg on the market that I have used. It comes with a lifetime warranty from Palmer's, a company that stands behind their products and they are established as one of the best in the Paintball community. If you are using CO2, get a Palmer. If you got cash get dual regulators, a first and second stage regulator. The first stage regulator should always be at a higher pressure than the second. Palmer regulators' seals stand up better to liquid CO2 than any other regulator. If you go Nitro then liquid CO2 is not an issue. I stick with CO2 because it is less cumbersome, inexpensive, and I don't have to carry around my own scuba tank. Palmers make CO2 just as good as Nitro for less money if you set it up right. Because the regulators get cold I suggest getting gloves to keep your hands warm and a CO2 tank cover without a butt plate if you are using it as a stock. This way your armpits don't freeze. HE HE. If you like to keep your gun simple, efficient, and somewhat at a low cost compared to Nitro systems, then Palmer is the way to go. Regulators are the best upgrades for your gun.
