I imagine its possible if you get a male/male hose adapter. that will allow you to screw in the expansion chamber into the valve threads via the male/male adapter. I dont know if they make that kind of adapter though. But it is possible if they make one. Just remember not to strip the valve threads or your valve is gone.

Why dont you just buy one? I mean there only like 20$ and Ben Tippmanns Vertical Adapter is a piece of Cake to install, I have more Trouble putting my Hopper on then installing the Ben Tioppmann 3-piece vertical Adapter.

If you wanna keep the foregrip, get a remote line, inwhich the remote line can be used as a Expansion Chamber. |

It's easy. Get a Autococker MINI ASA, screw it where the hose goes, screw in the exp chamber. http://www.shocktechusa.com/pages/mp_ac_vertasa_m.html http://adrenalineasylum.com/product_info.php?cPath=46_52& ;products_id=393 Edited by Ashran |

Yeah, I wish people could stop suggesting other ideas to people who want things done a certain way. They don't call it the 98 Custom for nothing. I also wish the moderating wouldn't be so strict. They should censor the worst and leave the PG rated cursing, or maybe just censor it out without deleting accounts. I have seen 98 Customs where the foregrip was left intact and the pit where the hose connects in front of the trigger guard had some kind of expansion chamber in it. I wish I could help but Ashran might be right. |

That's actually kind of neat. If I ever get another 98 Custom I'm going to do that and leave the front grip.
