First and for most you need to give it a paintjob...then after that you
should be set. OOO maybe a sticker or two....You know to increase your
rpms!

Hmm,, the flatline barrel is a nice upgrade , but consider this ; 1. Because of the aerodynamic spin it puts on the ball , it DOES have a flatter trajectory , Very useful for shooting under overhanging foliage , branches and such . 2. As has been said before , with the same paintball velocity , the ball will not travel much further than it would have if shot out of a straight barrel ,it just travels flatter while its in the air . 3. The paint shot out of either barrel will lose velocity at the same rate due to friction travelling thru the air . Your impact energy (the amount of impact force it will take to break a ball upon impact ) WILL be the same in either barrel . The factors that influence this are ; Projectile velocity , projectile weight , Paintshell brittleness and to some degree what it impacts on . This is called Effective range . I am not meaning to pick on ANYBODY here , but Please , please ,,, if you make a recommendation , base it upon knowledge , and not what 75 percent of what the crowd has already said , These "Young Guns " are counting on us for accurate ,useful info . On No. 2 I disagree with you. I have seen my A-5/flatline out range many markers out there. It maybee going 100 fps at 75 feet but it will travel allot further than normal ported barrels. What is nice about the flatline and how it will out range most barrels out there is that you dont need allot of fps becasue the backspin will help the ball break better. Bah I say to you sir, Bah! It will travel somewhat further , but when the ball runs out of gas (to break ) it doesnt matter what we think , thats physics , and newtons Laws in action !! Bah Back !! He-He
