Out of my experience Lapco makes some of the best barrels, they have been around for about 30 years and know their stuff. If you go to www.pbreview.com and look at lapcos stuff its all pretty high. I have seen though alot of it being low lately its because of the jerks if you look at why they are low its a few jerks giving lapco a bad name. I have owned my Lapco bigshot for about a month. I couldn't ask for a better barrel. I have tried dye barrels. They are good but not worth the price. The lapco bigshot is only about 50 dollars obviously depending on where you get it from. But for the money lapco bigshot is deffinetely the way to go. And never buy a 32 degrees barrel they aren't very good.

the last thing u want is a smart parts barrel, those thing are terrible unless you get the freak but thats around 200 bux. Lapco is the best in my opinion. ive had my bigshot 4 ever and is the most accurate barrel ive shot with. as for the the Tippmann barrels, the sniper one sux, but the werks is real nice |

it depends on what you want because if you want accuracy, most long barells will do the job, if you want quietness go with the 32 Degrees whisper or another heavy ported barell, if you want durability go with Tippmann or J&J ceramics, or finally if you want the whole thing: quietness, accuracy, and durability, go with the Freak or Empire barell kits because they offer the most for your mopney usually, if you use one kind of paint usually, get the Freak Juinior because it comes with less inserts and so you dont pay as much, many good places to look are paintballdiscounters.com and actvil.com

J&J ceramic is great. I've heard that that and a DYE Boomstick are best barrels for 98's or 98c's

thehoff is right, i have a teardrop and will never get rid of it. my friend has a J&J and my teardrop out shoots it. i will have him shoot a tree about 60 feet away and i will hit his paint alot of the time. but i haven't seen any one do it as much as i can with that teardrop when they use there barrels. i don't know if it just fits me and how i use it and stuff but i hit people right between the eyes all the time when they pop up over a bunker. if i can see u i can hit u and people know that when i play. i use allstar and the hole setup works very very well for me i suggest it strongly. who ever said no smart parts doesn't know what he is talking about, he probably has never shot one. i haven't used a bigshot so i cant say anything about them. the only barrel i really don't like is the flatline.

I have a J&J ceramic and when u break a ball and fire a few paintballs through it. It cleans the barrel. I think it makes it quieter than the stock barrel
