Hey peeps! I'd like to know how useful that trigger stop is? I own a 98 custom and have the GTA Double Trigger and just finished doing that pen spring mod and the feedneck mod, both simple and helpful! |

it helps with the cycle time ,of resetting the trigger ,if you get used to it not travelling back any further that it has to , to trip the sear ,it moves quicker , less travel distance = less travel time in resetting = more BPS . I have installed it in my 98c and trigger travel is a total of about 2 mm , just enough to allow the sear to trip . It works really well .

pen spring mod is useless, sure ur trigger feels lighter when the marker isnt cocked, but when it is, ur not pulling against the trigger spring nearly as much as ur pulling against the sear spring and the sear on the bolt, the trigger stop will help remove a lot of unwanted travel however so have at it.

lmao... u guys are funny.... just a few comments here 1. pen spring mod is useless in a mechanical setup, since the sear will kick the trigger back anyway (good for ebolts, cuz the switch doesnt have that much tension to push the trigger back quickly) 2. i had a 1mm trigger pull, but i just couldnt walk it rite, i guess there is such thing as too short... i set mine to about 3mm and can get a really good rythum with it. |

Model98.net has directions on how to do this. I belive it should "cut" trigger length in half, thus making you able to fire at 2x the speed? I am not sure thou.
