Does anyone know if you have to use GTA replacement o rings for the 98c, or can you just take your o rings off and go to your auto parts store or somewhere else, and just match some up for alot cheaper..

Any o-rings that are the correct size will work.
Some o-rings may work better than others, depending on what they're made of though. Also, make sure the gun lubricant you use is safe to use on whichever o-rings you use. But, none of that should be a problem at all. |

I would really like to find specs on the O-rings. There is no silly reason whatsoever that they should be 3 dollars apiece. I would love to find out what size they are you can buy them for 10 cents. Don't take old ones to size, they wear and stretch, and part of the reason they don't work very good anymore is that they have stretch or shrank. So compare new ones to size replacements. |

If you have a Lowe's or Home Depot near you, take the o-rings off your gun and go there. Right in the o-ring section they have a sizing chart, normally in the plumbing section. Just match the o-ring you want replaced to the one on the chart and grab a package of that number o-ring.
That's what I do. A 10 pack of o-rings just cost me $1.10 I believe. You're right, they shouldn't cost $3. Never buy directly from Tippmann. |

I work at a hardware store and I took my gun in and started shooting everyone...I mean, I took it in and replaced every O-ring with rubber and neopream (sp) orings. Cost me nothing.
