Lapco offset rail

   I am goin to get ethier a scope or a reddot sight for my A-5 and everyone says i need to get a Lapco offset rail because of the hopper or somtin. So i wanted to know do i really need one and what do they do?

	with a red dot you dont really need an offset sight mount but if your gunna get a scope you probalbly will need one. but I would get one anyway because they are so sweet

	Depending on the size of your red dot sight or scope (I'd definitely go with the dot sight) you will have to move it off to the side, so that it doesn't sit right behind the side of the hopper. You don't have to get the lapco one though--you can find much cheaper offset sight rails. Also, if you have a stock on your marker you'll want a raised sight rail too.
