Would a firestation be able to fill your HPA tanks? or do they just fill like scuba tanks.

Thanks

my team and other firefighters that play with this talk about it every time we play, the firestations do not have the right type of valve to fill the small hpa tanks, they do however fill the Scuba tanks, thats how we get ours filled now because our buddys over at the department do it for free. They only can fill to 3000psi though. some can only do 2000psi, and then some can go to 5000psi. Just depending on the station.

If they have the correct Fill station, than yes.  But most of the time, no.

^^ that still dosent mean that they WILL fill it for you, going to a firedeparment and asking to fill a small little compressed air tank would look kinda retarded don't u think?

the odds are they will not fill it for you, the best place you can do it is at a dive shop. they have the right fitting and what not plus can go up to 5000 psi. if you cant go to a dive shop try out a welding shop
