im really confuzed about the air upgrades for the 98 custom. does nitrogen/compressed air work w/ the remote line or expansion chamber? wats the difference between nitrogen and compressed air anyway? does a 98 custom work well w/ low pressure systems w/ out the kit? plz help |

HPA (another name for both compressed air and nitro) will work with the remote just fine. There is no point in using HPA with an X-chamber because the HPA is already expanded to its higest form. unlike CO2 which is put into the tank as a liquid, HPA is is already in its gas form so it doesn't need to expand. When you use HPA its best to use a regulator not an X-chamber. For paintball purposes there is no real big difference between compressed air and nitro they're both pretty much the same and both work the same in a paintball gun. The M98 doesn't need anything to run on HPA but it is a good idea to get a LP kit.
