Ive been playing with my friends and their equipment for the last 2 months. (very nice friends) We play mostly woods since one of them has 7 acres behind his house. We set up bunkers, dugout trenches and made foxholes. Theyve been playing for a good time most since they turned 12. I want to know if I put a 800 dollars (birthday money
) into a tippmann will it be worth it and last. I plan on doing this along time. Ive already got a car is the only reason Im going to be able to spend so much. When we play sometimes i like to go long range and hide on a side of the hill and just take longer range shots, sometimes I like to get into the heat of things and go cqb. My friends and I like playing auto or atleast burst. I like auto some and bursting some. I need to know what to get that will be all around good for sniping, cqb, and have auto or burst. We dont like playing at registered fields because of the rules, so dont bring that up. Were sortve army junkies and want it real as possible, even have obj. such as my old laptop that has to be stolen from the opposing team. I know its quirky but we have fun. Ive played a flatline barrel once. How does it do in cqb? I heard some people say that up close the ball is likely raise and miss high. Is there really a barrel that can do both cqb and long range? What kind of trigger grip do I need to have burst, auto. Im planning on buying the A-5 as a base.Edited by Phear_Mike |

the a-5 is great; I'd go with the flatline, but that's just me, and look into the e-grip.

I live in NC. Thx for the answers. I have two barrels picked out lol. The a-5 flatline, which I heard is a woodsball best friend. Also the smart parts barrel freak kit, which i heard is a good barrel. Though in my oppinion it looks more of a speedball type. Which barrel do you suggest, keeping in mind my above post. Thx and forgive me for any murdered terms. im a noob. Tippman A-5 Tippmann A-5 Comp-Air low pressure system (Will this work with the E-grip?) DYE Hyper2 Inline Regulator adjustable 50-450 psi. (Is this what I need to have the Comp-Air System.) Tippman A-5 E-grip (This stays) Tippman A-5 DoubleTrigger Kit?(Will this work with the E-Grip?) Pro-Team Hyperstar Bolt (Is this a good bolt?) Tippman Flatline Barrel or Freak Barrel Kit (Any suggestions?) 68ci/4500psi Fiber Wrapped High Pressure Bottle(Can anyone give me an estimate of shots I will get out of this tank?) Thx for any help. all right...p3t3r you need an inline reg with the low presure system ...so yes get low presuse system with the reg...you dont need a nitro tank but it is recomend...if you are planing on use co2 DONT but the comp-air system......get an expantion chamber..that well save you money to. you dont need a new bolt that just a little extra..but u can get it. e-grib now...well if it get wet your **edited**ed.. i would recoment the rt.once you larn how to control it ..your love it..also the comp-air and e-grib will work good together. flatline is amazing i love it i put one on my friend marker(98 custom could be diffrent) the 2x trigger...is also recomend if you have the e-grib give you a little more control..you dont need it..keep that in mind. that tank that you wish to buy well i gusse(dont get mad if i am wrong) should get you about 1000-1200 shots...depend on what your setting are at...also that bolt is a good bolt..but if you are low on cash after your shoping...dont get it it not that importen. if you have any question...pm me.....and if there and spelling problem sorry
