i was using an old monitor to get my new system working, and it apparently broke, shorted out, and sent full voltage back into the video card.

When I was throwing my new PC together I fried one of the LED wires and it started smoking...Still don't know why. It was scary for a moment to see smoke rising out of my brand new PC.

I dun get it.

My WAS board did the same thing to me. Kinda. The connection for the battery wire and the board burnt off, so its at Jim Drew's place prolly sitting and waiting for him to look at it and tell me its my fault the board did this and charge me for a new one.
