I'm getting an A5, been used only 12 times, has the E-grip. Just wondering what stock I should slap on her to get that wicked look and increased stability when aiming. I've read the reviews for most A5 stocks off pbreview.com and most were far from perfect. Wondering if any A5 owners with stocks can clue me in.

the ben tippmann folding stock is great. dont get the car stock because its flimsy plactick design cracks very easily, and can easily pull off the end cap. the folding stock is all metal, very durable, very adjustable (many different positions), and when you dont want it, just fold it aside. the solid stock is okay, but seems a little flimsy too. i do recomend a drop forward with a stock because the tank really gets in the way without it. good luck. |

in my opinion i'd rather get a remote rather than a drop, but whatever floats your boat..... anyways, i'm planning on getting a stock too, and i was planning to get myself the fixed saw stock. i haven'd heard much from it, but if anyone else knows more about it, plz post fixed saw stock: |

Wait a second, my CAR stock isn't plastic. It is MILSPEC, right down to the steel interior. It may cost more than the cheap plastic replicas, but every cent is worthwhile. The 6 positions allow for flexibility, yes i do use my woods gun in speedball, the stock is set at the smallest position. That's the problem with the solid stocks, tough to use in multiple fields. |

There are so many different styles of stocks that can be fitted on a A5, as to which one you want to give you that stability and looks is entirely up to you Here are some sites so you can choose http://www.store.yahoo.com/opsgear/ http://www.btpaintball.com/home.php http://www.eastgatedesign.com/ |

The solid and car stocks blow. my car is real flimsy, and u cant get ur face close enough to the gun w/ ur mask on to aim. ok, the car stock for the A5 is basically a look alike of an m16 stock. the reason the m16 has a raised sight rail is because the top of the stock would be the same height as the top of the reciever YOU CANNOT AIM USING A STOCK THAT IS THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE RECIEVER. the new SAW stock seems to have a lower cheekpiece allowing more room for goggle clearance. dont listen to anybody who says to use a dropforward. get a remote, and enjoy a lighter gun |

the problem with the new saw stock however, is that you can only fit up to a 9oz co2 tnak using the stock gasline setup. like jyon_sniper said, i'd highly recommend a remote setup
