i ordered a WGP pro stock 04 autococker the other day. Been using a 98c
for years plus my A-5 and just recently decided to go ahead and get
this gun.
so i was wondering if using co2 in this cocker can damage it in any way? like possibly freeze up parts of the gun? |

A stock cocker should work fine on CO2, but many aftermarket parts won't do as well. If you plan on upgrading your gun, I would recommend nitro early in the plan.

when ifirst got my gun (see below) and i put regular co3 in it i noticed a small difference and the reg froze up like an isicle so i put an anti siphon tube in for around 15 dollars and noticed a huge difference the reg was fine no velocity spikes and it shot great so idefinitly recomend one yet i it always shoots better when i use nitro so... THINGS TO BUY: anti siphon-tube for co2 and if you want go the extra step and use a remote hose it will also add to the benifits of an anti siphon tube/ a nice nitro tank after a while maybe Edited by vftactical2 |

Its a good idea untill the part where you use an anti-siphon with remote because of the way A.S works it takes up liquid Co2 if the bottle is in a certain position(screwed into your asa) but with a remote it will be in a pack the pack will tilt and you could possibly get pure liquid Co2 in your gun. |

I wouldnt run CO2 in my cocker, you would be better off just buying a cheap 47/3000 tank for $70.

^ Exactly. Nitro tanks are so cheap now a days. Get a anti-syphen
if you want to stick with CO2, i would laugh at a person whose got a
remote line on a cocker. It would just look weird.

^^^^^ Why do you say that? I've seen remotes on cockers, and looks right in place. Cockers are pretty short guns, which maximizes the benefit of a remote... Back in the day of steel hose remotes, you would see a lot of cocker guys with remotes. It's only recently that remotes have gone out of vogue. |

I'm learning a lot through resurrecting two dead autocockers I acquired. Save yourself lots of trouble and get compressed air. You'll thank yourself, trust me. Autocockers need love. Never forget this. Weep, for paintballravi.com is down. Read the manual. If you didn't read the manual for your A-5 or your M98 because Tippmann is beautiful and made their markers ID10T resistant, do not hesitate to read the Autococker manual. The more you understand about how the autococker works, the better you will be able to troubleshoot WHEN it breaks down. It's a tinkering gun. Enjoy! |

*sighs* autocockers need love, baby it, and yea if u want read the
manual, but thats only if your a noob, i mean i have had like 3 cockers
and i didnt read anything and they are in tip top condition. Yes use
anti syphon with a co2 on cockers, number one freezes your reg so much,
i got my tounge stuck to it one time just to see what could happen, and
yea y would u use a remote thats so noobish i would just flame the
person at first sight. And no tippys arent idiot proff u take it apart
and u can really screw the thing up. And if u really need help surf
over to the nation and theyll give u help

I would just get nitro, but definitely use anti-siphon if you want to use CO2. Don't worry about a remote, that would be kinda useless; by the time you buy it and an anti-siphon you coulda had a 47/3000 steel tank.
