I'm sort of new to paintball so don't get angry with this question..
What makes Bob Long's guns so goddamn expensive? His markers look like the Kingman Fenix ACS or the Pirahna E-Force EVO, just a little better. So what in the marker that makes it so expensive? |

The Bob Long markers are 20 times better then a spyder or fish. Bob longs are faster, more consitant, has better air effieciancy, and are built way better. When you start to learn paintball youll start to understand. At first I couldnt understand why anyone would spend more then $200 on a marker. And look at me now, spending $750 for my next marker, my old one was 500 and I probably put 200 worth of upgrades into my first marker. |

Faster? Yes. Consistent? Yes. Efficiency?
Yes. Built way better? NO! Are you smoking tainted
crack? Timmies are horribly designed and built. You are
either a Bob Long b*tch or never owned one before.

HK Army,
never had a problem with mine, otherwise I wouldn't be able to trade it. But having to sand regulator spring burrs and 2mm thick pressed aluminum grip frames are a sure sign of high quality. Get a clue! |

TheEndComplete,
Ultimately, none of our replies have answered your question "So what in the marker that makes it so expensive?". Let me enlighten you, and state that nothing in the gun internals justify its price. What does make it expensive is the Bob Long skull logo jewel, wide spread team sponsership, and other marketing tricks. I should also add another reason -- the brainwashed timmy fanboys. What makes them so expensive is they are very air effecient, very fast, they come with great inernals and a very air effcient delrin bolt. Also they have tons of milling make them very very light. Yes they are very relaible and are overall good quality guns. I haven't had mine for very long but I can tell you this, it is way better then my Impy and Cocker ever were. |
