use small to medium bore paint with the flatline. PMI or RPS are good, but they're not cheap. I use Shrapnel paint, $39.99 for a case and i haven't broken a ball yet.

Go and get  some Diablo Dusk from wal-mart, best paint I ever used.. they may not sell it any more though.. Also, 'Heavy Metal' and 'Afterburner' are other good types that work very well, heavy metal are the best other than the dusk though... Dont listen to them.. Only thing I use is cheap paint.. and never had a problem, just dont get BassEagle.. afterburners are brass eagle..but they are better then the older ones they make.. like them crapp gold/black shell ones.. bah.. every one is a bust. AND DONT GET BLUE STREAKS!! it will be a blue slushy in ur flatline..

What does Wally charge for paint near you?  Usually, 20-25 bucks per 1000.  Order online can get Menace around $33/2000, or Premiums for $47/2000.  Also, some of the Zaps are decent with the FL, Spank $33 and Chronic $45.

I think some assume Wally is cheaper because of their rep and because of the smaller packages that you're buying.  Always ask what it would cost per 2000 and compare on line.  Even dusks are $16/500, well thats $64/2000, you can get Evils and Marbs for that.

Another benefit to buying online is the paint will be fresher.  How long do you think it takes for the paint to go from the manufacturer, to the distributor, to the back storeroom, to the department shelf and then into your cart.  Not only does that take a lot of time, but think of all the minimum wage employees that have handled that case of paint. Yes, I've heard some of the bad UPS stories, but that is nothing compared to what goes on in the back rooms of WallyWorld.

And one of the ways Wally can sell for low price is they buy everything in huge bulk numbers, that means even more time sitting on the shelf, in one location or another.

NEVER USE BLUE STREAK!!!!  The worst paint ever made, and banned by many fields.

You truly want the best and cheapest paint fer the Flatline, then look at this http://www.sportmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1366669 &cp=712507.710322&page=2&doVSearch=no&pageBu cket=0&parentPage=family

This is the same brand of paint I use fer my Flatline, Ive only experienced 1 break and 1 chop out of an entire case of 2000 (blue/yellow shell).

And jus to let you know....RPS/PMI Premiums are small bore paint, its the "perfect match" fer the Flatline which is a medium bore.
