Any advice you can give me for cold weather playing tips CO 2 types of paint would be great.
We played yesterday and it was about 40 degrees. We had alot of problems with guns freezing up and ball breakage. My A-5 did not have any problems but the Spyders and Pirahna players had the most problems.

Draxxus make the Inferno paintballs which are made for cold weather play. You can get a heating sock for your co2 and hopper. The paint is expensive thoguth about $70 a case.

well you can use the inferno paintballs made for the cold. You could also wrap up your gun in like a small blanket maybe to keep it at least a little.I dunno make up somethin.

Tape a hand warmer to your hopper on the inside, and use a heating sock for the hopper. Or just upgrade to HPA if you have the cash.

for both hopper and co2
stick a hand warmer or two inside the hopper for a tank take a sock put some hand warmers in it then put it over the tank (make sure the warmers are evenly distributed over the tank) |

The difference between the possible and impossible is determination.

never had a problem playing in cold.....not with a tippmann. other guns do freeze. Dont waste money on any warmers for the tank. CO2 will cause guns to freeze when being shot at a rapid pace. I play when it is as cold as 20 to 30 degrees with out any problems from my A5

Those things do leave some nasty welts in the cold, try to wear just a thick jacket, cuz ur tank is gunna b under ur arm, and put some thermal socks on ur tack too, that way it will b warm, u gun...just try to clean it everynow and then, my gun has an 18in barrel on it, imagine that in 40degrees, it gets so cold it almost hurts ur hand to touch it
