should a-5s be used for tournaments i mean they are a little on the heavy side

they can b good for it but they have that big feed neck in which would provide more target space for your oposition to hit. if u lean ur gun towards the bunker you would reduce how much ur feed neck sticks out.

I used one for awhile, it was alright. It was heavy, but what doesn't kill you makes your stronger. That just made the switch to the Shocker feel that much better.

It'll do the job. The hopper may hang out to one side a little bit, but it's also a whole lot shorter on the topside, so it isn't a disadvantage. I played several tournaments with my A5, and I did pretty well with it.

Nice sounds not to bad. I'm about to enter some tournaments with my a-5 I thought our team was going to be playing woodsball not speed so I got the a-5. It is on the heavy side. But once you have the adrenaline of like a game it feels like a feather or something. Happy games.
