I think that news been out for a long long time, they never seem to get around to doing it. I think NN put like a Mavrick board on his or something. but WAS doesnt really seam to be doing much with a new 98 board I guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the ebolt and electro pneumatic
upgrade kit? Doesn't that negate the whole "sear tripper" thing?

^^^You are correct. And it's old news. Someone also emailed them about it, and they said they're not working on it because there's not enough intrest. Don't hold your breath.

tippmanns are also mechanically capped. it will never compare to a full bred electropneupatic gun.

Milkman got one to shoot 25 BPS with a Response Trigger...  If I'm correct, Timmies are capped at 25 BPS...

Yeah, E-Bolt =! sear tripper.

It actually uses a ram.

I have seen a sear tripper kit for the 98c though. Doesn't seem worth the money.

And remember, the E-Grip is just one of those "suxx0r sear trippers".

Hopefully now people won't believe everything people on PBNation tell them.

If you run a search here for WAS and EQ there should be some old threads about this.

I emailed Jim at WAS about some things including possibly being a beta tester for the project.  He completely dodged my offer in his reply.

Jim's insane if he thinks there's no market for eyes for a 98 or a-5 but Tippmann will probably beat him to it.

I'd still like to test for it.  RATguns deals with them all of the time so it would be convevient for me to be able to work with them and Jim on it.

Mechanically capped?  The mechanics of a 98 are capable of extreme rates of fire.  When I get a new valve I'll do my trigger spring mod and shoot a video (98 w/ rt).  The video isn't that good but you'll be able to hear how fast it is.  Very fast

That was a joke. He never really did. Sorry to burst your bubble.

if u shorten the ram cycle(natrual newbie did this) u can achive high rates of fire. 98 customs ARE mechically capped at 14-15 BPS. the ram can not cycle fast enough to keep up. so it really woodnt matter if u put a new board it unless u modify the ram.
