hey all.. I am thinking about getting a new nitro tank.. my friend is selling a Pure energy 88cu/4500 but I was also looking at a  crossfire 68cu/4500..

How many more shots would I get out of the Pure Energy? also which brand is better?

i'de go with the crossfire, its a smaller tank, and if you ask me i really dont like PMI and from things i read the regs arent that nice on the tank
check the uber upgrade thing i think there is something about which tanks are nicer

Both are good tanks, but Crossfire puts out lower pressure, which can be an issue if you have an RT.  Otherwise, either is fine.

I just bought a crossfire for my tippmann with an r/t.  The only way you could possibly have problems is if you have a low output tank w/o a lp kit on you gun.
blame it on the irish....

Oh thats bright.  tell him to get 5k air while he is at it.  he is considering buying a used pmi tank [nothing wrong with that, I almost bought pmi, they're not much $$$] not angel air.  thats way too much money.  Go crossfire.

Which ones cheaper and has the best price to size ratio... and hydro test dates. I personally have just bought a 92ci crossfire(low pressure) stubby and am getting set to buy another of the same spec.

Personally I prefer a 68ci tank and a 88ci tank feels a bit big, but eh thats just me.  IMHO crossfire makes a better product and have the best regs in the industry.

  • Crossfires are the best preset you can buy
  • NO drop off
  • Crossfire  sells  Hp and lp tanks
  • The regs are great
  • Tanks are great

Basically they are a great tank and are alot better than Pe tanks

And he is considering 88 or maybe a 68 cubic inch tank.  didnt see anything about 45cu did you?  I did research and the cheapest tank i found was in fact $198, but that's for a 68/3k.  we're talking about a 68 or 88/4500.  My crossfire was $169 new, I sure can bet you wont find a legion air for that.
