Deff go with a Imp w/OTB Timmys are ugly, long, and overrated IMO. Make sure you get a Vison Impy or you will be chopping.

key point is comfort... try both.. some peeps prefer one over the other
as for the initial question... unless it is a very up'ed impulse... i would go with the timmy most stock impulse out there dont have an LPR, delrin bolt, lock feedneck and other goodies that the Storm timmy has |

You live in Wisconsin right? My cousin plays in tournaments at BFG. He has a REALLY nice rat impulse that he's trying to sell. Maybe you should check it out. It's completely upgraded, and I don't think he's asking very much. PM me if you want his screen name.

OTB OTB OTB. I have one of the frames, they kick the pants off the I-frames. Though I would take a timmy over an Imp, just because timmies have better boards, eyes, and they're lighter and not as tall.

Go with the texas storm man, one of my teamates had one for a little
bit and that thing ripped, plus if you get an impulse you should just
move into it because they are taller than my house. Especially with an
otb vert frame.

i have owned a strange imp with the otb frame one it, i loved the setup up of it, as for an I frame, its all comfort, i like 90 degree frames better, so i went with the otb, it was decently fast and i just loved the feel of it, and who honestly cares about height, if u are positioned correctly then it wont make a difference how tall your gun is. I currently own a timmy, and it have to say that i love both markers, but the timmy takes it. With the upgrades I had on my timmy, i would take it over the strange with an otb. But shoot em both and see what u like.
bwt all timmys r basically the same minus the boards and the milling, so i would keep that in mind, but if u have your heart set on tx go for it, but u prolly could get a 2k2 or a pimp classic (like mine)for cheaper and they would perform equally as well. hope this helps and good luck |
