The many types of paintball players: will be summarized in two divisions tourney and the i love to play types!

tourney

1. rookie-simple put toghether friend teams who just are starting with electric spyders and stock brass eagles!

2.novice more experianced tourney playas who have wisdom adn semi-nice guns like cockers and lower end bob longs!

3. Amatuer- the next up to be pro's these guys have been newbs and are well past that and compete in more than two tourneys a year. these dudes have top end markers like dye dm4 and bob longs.

I LOVE TO PLAY PEOPLE (65-70% of us0

the many types first off are dependant on speedball recball(in the woods for all really paintball challengend newbs) or scenario(WHICH I WON'T GET INTO TO COMPLEX AND MANY TYPES)

1 Sniper- a true sniper dressed in a gillie suit crawls and waits for his prey hidden in brush for over 20 minutes without moving and doesn't have a brass eagle talon!

2 wannabe sniper-one who has a long barrel and sits behind a tree trying to pick guys off at 400 ft! and has a spyder!

3 special ops-one who has a group of 3 or 4 and penetrates a line of enemy and gets flag or is just really sneaky! let off alot o paint get illiminations and run like hec!! normally nice guns with a few upgrades!

Lonewolf:
You know the type, one man armies at their best. Usually a very good overall player. Can hold positions. Good for offensive maneuvers. Can throw the paint accurately. May have a hard time working with the rest of the group but not always true. This style can encompass sniping and kamikaze and various others. Really a very strong player.

Dynamic Duo:
The Batman and Robin of the group, normally friends off the field. These players play so much together that they begin to rely on one another heavily. Great team work. Overall usually above average players. Able to hold positions and advance. Good offensive ability. They tend to lose it when companion is taken out. Strength in numbers, not too many weaknesses
.

and finally you what r u please post pm me for any questions!

have a merry Christmas

i dont want to disagree but i will, but is only on one thing and that is your line between novice and ametuer the novices have guns like electro spiders, and suped up tippmanns, where as the more expreienced ameteurs have the nicer guns, cockers, any intimidator, and any of the higher end guns.

lastly i dont think it is what kind of gun you shoot, its what you know about the game, i have an ebladed cocker and i know a lot about paintball. (more than anyone in my school) Then one of my friends has an Angel he got from his uncle real cheap, and he can barely spell paintball let alone play it.

oh yeah, im usually a dynamic duo with my one friend, but 99% of the time hes crakin jokes so we always get caught

LOL!   Rookies with Brass Eagles.... right, not in Texas.   All the Rookies here shoot high end guns and can seriously ball.   If you play Novice in Texas, you are playing Nationally in PSP or NPPL.

Exactly ^.

Gun dont make the player, Player makes the gun.

I said this before, I know people, with Spyder Xtra's and sure they cannot lay down a hopper of paint in a minute, but sure can play some ball. I also seen some 10 year old kid, just starting, with a brand new $1400 Angel A4, he sucked.

Theres a pro team here, not sure of the name, but they have a guy named Wild Bill and JJ Moore on there team. Ive watched these guys, using nothing but pumps, take out a Ameture team who all had high end bob-longs. That is an example of too much money and whole lot more experiance.

I guess I'm a little confused about your response, was that meant to be sarcasm?   If so, come to Texas and play a "Rookie" tournament.   No camo or Brass Eagles here.   Just straight up ballers with paint hookups through National/PMI/Zap.   Full jerseys.  And hardcore skill.   You don't bump until 3 years tourney experience, 3 1st place finishes in one year or winning a series.

Ive played texas rookie and Texas Novice, Ive played Cali, New York, and Vegas too(as Rookie and Novice) and the people there are no different from the people here. I still used my Spyder Imagine and kicked butt. took 3rd out of 25 something teams at a tourney in Dallas I believe it was.

That is so true! All the XTPL ballers in rookie...seriously...timmies, angels, shockers, pulses...mostly timmies. Well, trixes too. And there's way too many of those teams with full sponsorships...it's rookie, dangit!!

But yeah, there is almost no way you can compete in the bigger rookie tournies without a nice marker. It's the player, not the gun...but there IS a point at which your gun is hurting you no matter how good you are. When you can effortlessly lay 16 bps you can use that, rather than bunkers, as cover, and move whereever you want sometimes...for example. When your gun isn't fast enough to catch their front man on the break when he's doing a crazy run...you're in trouble, plain and simple.

anyways. enjoy.

s'right, I do a webcomic and I update it like every two months. go go!
