printer problems

im trying to print my book report, my printer keeps saying its jamed, well its not jamed. its not low on ink and all the conections are properly working. its a lexmark X75 connected to a 2001-2002 DELL. i've been workin on this dang thing for almost an hour and a half and am out of ideas. It sounds like its trying to load paper but it isnt grabing onto it, then it says its jamed but the paper hasnt even been moved. if some one can help please do, i would just wait for my new printer if my book report wasnt due on thursday.

yes which is why im getting a new one for christmas, maybe i'll film the destruction of my old one, i was thinking something like cherry bombs and m-80's with gun powder inside the scaning door thingy.

open it up eh, there might be something in the internals... or something... make sure that you're pressing the button to feed the paper once you've put the paper in. otherwise, put it on a disk and give to a friend/print at library.

its not the typical microsoft word it has some thing called wordperfect 10 will it still beable to load it and print it on a computer with word?
