Coffee.

Hell yeah.  I had my cup 'bout 30 minutes ago.

How do you take it? I drink mine black. Sometimes I have to substitute a Coke, depending on mood and availability. I usually knock back at least one of them by 7:00 am.

Some of that coffee that makes you see through time? Good stuff. I went through a black coffee, straight tequilla, unfiltered cigarette phase for awhile several years ago. Woo. No more of that. I can do the coffee, but once I got used to the smokes I decided to put them down.

My smoking lasted about two weeks. Then I decided it wasn't for me. Now I just have the (very) occasional pipe, and glass of wine is about all the drinking I do, aside from the more common Guinness of course.

I think it's very interesting how some people can take the same materials and come up with radically different qualities of coffee. At work we have boxes full of pouches of coffee. The coffee makers are automatic, you just push a button. Yet somehow there are still people who can make good and bad coffee in there. It's crazy. Best cup of coffee I ever had was while camping. This guy there made up a pot with the ground beans they had there and it was amazing. My grandma's cofffee is also incredible, but then again, she's had more practice.

I feel the nerd coming back. That brought up images from role playing. There was a drink in a game I played that allowed you to see into the spirit world.

If you're dropping acid in your cofee as a pick-me-up each morning then I think your problems go beyond simple caffeine addiction. Might want to switch to a non-spiked decaf.

I accually had 3 cups this morning.
