It doesn't work like that.

Buying pb's from the internet is like gambling... you get a VERY good price, but... you have a 30% chance(most likely) that they will turn up destroyed.   If you trust UPS/FedEx/DHL enough, hell yea its worth it.

I know lots of people who order paintballs off the internet, they buy like 4000 and expect to have one bad bag. They save a bundle though.
You call the Eagle, Eagle does the rest.

xpaintball.com, now anythingxtreme.com has a return policy.  if u're item show's up broken, u can return it.  i'm not positive if this applies to paintballs though, u'll have to look for your self.

^ No.

No Online shop, and even some proshops do not have a return policy on Paintballs, they would loose WAYYYY to much money...  UPS/FedEx/DHL arn't the most 'Gentle' with packages, so it would be UPS fault not the stores.

As stated above there are risks to ordering paint on-line. I can tell you what I used to do when I ordered paint on line to minimize the risks.
1. Order from a reputable supplier, preferrably one that has been around awhile (e.g. www.countypaintball.com, etc).
2. Call them first and speak to someone in sales that knows the company's products first hand. Tell them you want to place an order and you want to know if these (the stock #) paintballs are fresh, how do they pack them for shipping to insure safe delivery, etc..
3. If they answer your questions with vague responses, check out someone else.

I had one supplier tell me that he was so sure of how good his paintballs were that he would ship them and not charge my credit card until I called him after I received them to let him know if I liked them or not (I really did like them, but they now sell something else).
Last but not least, talk to your local paintball shop (if you have one) and ask them that if you buy all your paint from them, will they give you a discount. I did that with a local Army/Navy Surplus store that also sells paintball supplies. He gives me a 10% discount on everything (clothing too). The discount makes his prices more competetive with the on-line stores (by the time you pay shipping, tax & etc.).

Like said aobve you're taking a risk. Try to buy from a place where they have a wearhouse close to where you live so they aren't driving your paint half way across the country.

I have bought paint from www.firstcallpaintball.com before and I will do it again. It was fresh and did not have a single broken ball.

I think buying pbs off the internet is the most laziest thing a man could do... just drive your car or have your parents drive you to a pb store and just buy them. GEEZ!!!
