hi i was wondering because some people said it can and some said in cant but i was wondering can a stock A-5 use hpa or n2 without a regulator? or does it need a regulator in order to use hpa and n2?well thx again

Yes it can. All you need is a tank.

Yeah, you just need to have a high output (800-850 psi) tank. If you want to use a low output tank, you need the Low Pressure Kit. I haven't used it, but from what I heard, its not worth it.

Yeah low pressure tanks are pretty worthless in a gun like a Tippmann.  I'm running Low pressure on my 98c with a Hi-output PMI 72/4500 and a Bob Long Torpedo reg and I love it. All you really need is a tank though. With just a tank, you'll get more shots than with Low pressure and you'll save money.
