Hello to all, new fellow here, as far as oiling and lubing your marker I have seen a few posts refering to lithium grease? is that specifically if your having some kinda friction problem or should I be greasing anything on my A-5 just because.

you shouldnt use white lithium grease on the inside of your gun. use hoppes #9. white lithium is very good for any o-rings though. put some in your asa walls for a good seal.

^ Argreed^ You could also look for marker specific oil and/or grease at a paintball store also.

i use some oil i got at a paintball store. works very well, and it holds up good too |

The main use I have heard of lithium grease for is the barrel o-ring (it helps keep the gun steady and grease would seal it better). It would probably be fine to use the grease on the tank o-ring, but oil works fine for me and oil in the gas line won't harm anything, but the grease getting into the line might. My opinion would be to just oil your tank o-ring if needed and only use the grease on the barrel o-ring. I could be wrong, but for me oil is great for most purposes. |
