1. A-5 + Comp Air + Flatline + R/T + 68/4500 tank 2. WGP VF Tactical + eVLution + 68/4500 tank I can't friggin decide. I play mostly rec-ball. Both seem like they would be awesome for rec. I don't care for stocks.. remotes .. slings and that crap.. |

The A-5 would be strickly a woods gun, while the cocker setup would do speedball also. The A-5 would be half the price of the cocker. I think you need to shoot both and decide. Just to throw a wrench into the works, The Tac-one from AGD is a really nice gun and is closer to the A-5 price. I personally would choose one over the Tactical even if they were the same price. Sorry, if I just confused you more

frankly I think mags suck. ever since the x-valve and 10 bolt came out they have been hell. over on the airgun owners forum there are over 1200 posts reguarding problems with just those 2 parts I'd rather not take that risk. The guys at ADG can't even come up with half the answers. Anyways the A-5 wouldn't be cheaper. With flatline rt and comp air added it's gonna be more than the VF-T. I can get a VF-T for $499 USD right now.. and if they run out it's 859 canadian dollars. the A-5 with the setup I mentioned would be about that too. So it's not about price .. it's about the better gun. I also wanna know just what kinda suprises I should expect with a cocker. I know A-5's are low maintenance. |

I would buy a Tippmann, but that is just me. Cockers are great markers, but timing and short-stroking are issues that newer players probably won't be able to deal with. |

where can I learn about timing and short-stroking? also I already said why I hate mags. They are the black death of leaks. Their forums are flooded with mag-owners who are going thru hell with x-valves and lvl 10 bolts. |

I love my A-5, I wouldnt go with anything else. If you are mechanicaly inclined you can rip the thing apart to its littlest peices and not worry about having trouble putting it back together. But from everything I have ever heard about cockers, if something goes wrong, just call the airsmith, cause you can't fix it. And with the RT you can sweetspot it so go full auto pretty easily, put out just as much paint as the cocker could with less effort. Edited by _Madman_ |

Well.. I know about short-stroking and timing now. Timing looks like a bastard to play with but I never short stroke on any gun.. I think the complexity is gonna rule out the cocker because there are no pro-shops here.. I emailed AGD asking a bit about the Tac-One. I'm so nervous about buying anything with an x-valve.. If they don't appease me I think it'll be an A-5 I get |

OMG, if I anger you so badly (I cannot see why) maybe you should leave the forum for a minute and take a breath of fresh air or something. What time is it? Like, 5:00 in the morning? Go to sleep dude.
