It can if you want it to. Traditionally, more high-end guns like an angel would be considered a competition gun.

i would not put it into a competetion my brother has a a-5 and he has done it up really good and he asked this expert in england about it and he said it is not worthy to be a competetion gun even though it has 18 inch barrel drop forward stock scope air canister and e- grip i was suprised when he asked this other guy and he said he should go into a competiton

so yeah it could be used as a competiton gun

^^^Thats because scopes are useless in competition...

The a-5 can keep up with the big boys with a couple good ups.

Comp LPK-
Palmer Reg
HPA-(low Pressure)
E grip with double trigger probably JCS
Boomstick (or freak kit, or evil pipe kit, what ever floats)
Drop with on off...Thats about it.

A stock A5 is not really, but add and E-grip, nitros, and a better barrel...  you'll be good to go.

Xs.

A5, GTA; Flatline, Double Trigger, R/T, Tapco Stock, 32° Remote, Attitude
