A friend is a mac user, and I told him about a program which allows Macs to use windows ported programs.  Can anyone give me info on this?  I remember hearing about it before, but never really looked into it.

Alcohal120 is just for saving the files on a CD on your PC so you dont need the disc, its not to allow Windows programs on a mac I dont think . . .

Or are you asking something else and it went over my head?

Waite?  Wow.  I was really off than.  I could have sworn.....guess not.  Anyway, is there a program that would possibly allow what I am asking?

There might be, not sure.

If his Mac has two drives (not sure whats in a Mac really) he might be able to run Linux on it and use a build that is similar to Windows to run programs.  I have no idea if its possible, a friend of mine did something similar, but his was on a PC.

Good luck!

There are nearly no virii that affect OS X. Since it's unix-based, it's inherently more secure anyway.

If you manage to get a virus on a mac I would love to come to your house and sit in your salad.
