i own a old M98, and the pwoer tube has a fairly large crack, the gun was leaking near the enterance to it but i fixed that, but now when i shoot the gun it shoots one really hard then one hardly out then it wont recock, and sometimes it will double or even triplle shot like what you get with an empty tank, would a new power tube fix this

You may need to also replace the valve, or the sear. Check to make sure the sear isn't rounded, or the rear bolt. If they are, replace them. If not, replace the valve. Also, check the ball latch. Make sure it's intact and not in backwards.
