Over a month ago, I had my local shop owner send in my A-5 because it was double firing. I didn't get it back until last wednesday, and Tippmann hadn't done a thing to it.

Turn off the RT valve. then open just enough to fire. Look at trigger sear, spring, and rear bolt. Is spring on correctly, is it loose enough not to pull sear into rear bolt hard enough? Is the sear or bolt worn enough not to engage (all edges should be pointed not rounded). Keep your gun clean and oiled. If you can't figure it out call Tipp. Tech.

then give the gun back and tell them it still isn't working. Chances are your shop owner never even sent it in.
