get the bigshot, the 98c flatline is very hard to finetune. I'd only get the flatline if I was using an A-5
for more info see the flatline answers thread |

Ok first of all all regular barrels shoot the same distance, the only barrel that will ever add distance when shooting straight at the target is the flatline, that being said shooting at a 45 degree angle you will get the same distance as the flatline using any barrel, but your not going to be able to aim like that and if there is a roof or trees overhead it wont work.
I don't like the flatlines myself, even though they add a lot of distance they dont seem to be quite as accurate as the nicer regular barrels (such as the Bigshot). |

the bigshot has no comparison to the flatline. if u do get a flatline dont get the 98c one get the A-5 one. the 98c one is a piece of crap. the bigshot is good for speedball and the flatline is good for woodsball, so it all depends on what you play.

The flatline has the advantage of distance while the Bigshot has the advantage of accuracy. If you play woods I would suggest the Flatline because of it's range. If you play speed then get the bigshot becaus it is more accurate and in speed extra distance is not needed. So if you play woods then yes, the Flatline is worth the extra cash; speed then no it's not worth it.
