I am wondering what will be a good woodsball barrel for my 98 custom, my current ideas are JJ Ceramic or a Lapco Bigshot, I want something that wont blow a hole in my pocket, and will be long range as well as acurate at longer ranges. noise isnt really a factor as much as distance and acuracy.

Do a search and you will find a lot of information since this question is way overasked.

Anyway all normal barrels shoot the same distance, the only barrel that does add distance is the flatline because it is curved and puts a backspin on the paintball.

As far as accuracy my personal low $ barrel is the Lapco Bigshot, I have compaired it with the J&J Ceramic and to me the Bigshot had noticibly better grouping.

Get the flatline. It is the only barrel out there that will increase your distance as well as accuracy. It is defiantly worth the $.

Accually they all dont shoot the same distance, it all depends on the material and the finish applied to the barrel.  But i would get a J&J over the bigshot.
