They're both great tank companies.
But like I told you on aim fiberwrapped tanks are going to be very hard to find right now. |

Stubby (peanut) is a term used for a tank that is shorter and
fatter than usual. The high (800+psi) and low (400+psi) just refers to
the output press. of the tank. You probably want a high output tank to
make sure you don't have shot drop off and to let you use the tank on
any other gun in the future. I'm just guessing, but the people you
talked to carry Pure Energy tanks and had to order a Crossfire, huh?
They are both good tank companies go for best price on a 68/4500 high
output tank.

My brother has a Pure Energy HPA tank and has nothing but problems
with the reg on it. Its constantly leaking from the reg and the refresh leaves something to be desired. I don't recommend them. I use a WGP Worr Gas tank on my A-5 and have only had one problem over the last 2 years with an internal o-ring wearing out, WGP fixed it up and got it back to me quickly for free. I've also heard that Centerflag regs are of good quality, much better than crossfire, but that's just from reviews I've read as I've never used them. |

Had my Pure Energy tank for a couple months now and she works fine. And like FyreFly said I've heard nothing but good things about Centerflag tanks.

Crossfire tanks are great. Very consistent with fast recharge rates.

Crossfire>All others
Seriously, I've used almost half a dozen Crossfire tanks on different guns now, and I've NEVER had a single, even minor, problem on one. Great recharge, some of the lightest out there, and they even look pretty cool. |
