   im not all that of a serious paintball player but my question is would it be more effective to just upgrade my model 98 or look into a new marker like an a-5?

	It's all your choice. If your pleased with your model 98 then stick with that. If your looking for a new gun then get the A-5.

	If you're not that serious, then stick with the 98. If you find yourself getting back into it, you can upgrade the 98 to your likings.

	If your not that serious I would think you don't want to spend a lot of cash. Keep your 98 until you know for sure you want something else. I would spend the money on paint and CO2 instead of upgrades or cosmetics. The A-5 to 98 comparison you can find with searching, as well as upgrades and price estimates.
	Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken!
