Hey, I just bought a 98 custom but after my first game the safety is stuck on ''fire'' its not that big of deal but I dont want to hurt myself or others. So, I took it all apart but that did not help. Thanks

Strip it down and put it back together again and if that didn't fix it - You may need to widen up the hole in the frame a little bit. Inspect it to make sure. The molded plastic is not machined to tight tolerances. As always, be carful to take off only what you need to. You said "after your first game" Did it work when you first got it? If yes, you just need to assemble it properly. |

I bought it used but it was only after I played that I noticed it, the guy I bought it from said it had not been used before and i guess he was right since it has no wear on the internals. I did strip it down and messed aroud with it, but did not get anything fixed, other wise the marker works great. I guess I will try to take it apart again later today, the only reason I am worried is that I might not be allowed to play on public field, but I dunno. |

When you take it apart put it in so the red o-ring end is pointing up. Put some oil or better yet white lithium grease on it too. A public feild or what you want to call it shouldnt have an issue with it. A lot of feilds actualy take out the safetys on rentals so some people dont forget to take it off safe. Your safe as long as you have your plug/condom in. |

I have a friend of mine who would always take the safetly out of his markers. He had horrible trigger habits for turning it off. I never took him to the shooting range. Use your barrel sock or whatever. |

I have always been careful with guns... after I shot myself in the bare foot with a 750 fps pellet rifle (ouch). I still have the pellet, when it was removed the doc was surprised that I had not broken stuff, the pellet mushroomed pretty good. |
