that section of the bible there are well over 20, and some are quite
funny.

The others are not Commandments, they are Mosiac law, made specificly for the Jewish people. The 10 Commandments, are set apart.

The Torah has a lot of things that were purely civil law. A lot of those don't even apply to the Jews anymore.

There are 613 commandments. The 613 knots on the fringe of a talit
represents all of them. The 10 were the most famous becuase they were
the ones brought down by moses.
I'm Jewish, and most of those, if not all, came from the torah. I think no one could ever follow them all, but the Orthodox Jews follow many more than Reform Jews do. Edited by Kpoofs |
